The opening round of the 2016 Racetech Steels WE Rock Australia Series was held at Wellington in Central NSW over the weekend. Six courses were run over some of the best rock crawling terrain in the country and the four Pro Mods and ten Unlimited crawlers entered were tested to the limits on the huge boulders rising from the Wellington fields.
After two days of competition Warren Hatherly and Keith Dyson came out on top in the Pro-Modified Class, finishing on +44. While in the Unlimited category Phil Meyers and Troy Whitelam held off 2015 Champ, Tim Scutt for the win. Look out for full coverage in Dirtcomp Magazine soon (subscribe here).
