Landcruiser Mountain Park played host to the first round of the Tough Tracks 4×4 Challenge with major floods completely changing many of the previously used competition areas giving the comp a whole new playing field since the comp was there last.
The Park was looking lush and the weather was awesome adding to the enjoyment of both spectators and competitors alike.
Competitor numbers were down with many not wanting to damage their rigs so close to the Tuff Truck event so only two classes were run although those who competed put on an outstanding spectacle over some very tough tracks.
Wet coarse sand, smooth slippery rocks and extreme side slopes kept the Drivers on their toes and the Navigators working hard to try and complete the courses.
Keep an eye out for the full report coming up in Dirtcomp Magazine.
