The cold snap may have brought the temp down but the racing was hot at Landcruiser Mountain Park for the second round of the 2015 Nitto Aust4 Series Superior Engineering LCMP Stampede.
Several Competitors made the long trip up from Sydney with Ben Napier taking the trophy for the Aust4 Pro class to make the trip well worthwhile. Local driver Matt Jillett kept the trophy for the Aust4 Pro Lite class in Qld.
The rock section for the Aust4 guys was tripled in length this round so the race was split into two groups with the Stock, UTV, Mod and Cams Classes starting at 8.30 for a 2 hour race followed by the Pro and Pro Lite classes starting after that. Due to a lack of competitors left running after lunch the two groups were combined for the afternoon run.
