In what is an exciting year for the Australian Off Road Championship (AORC), one of the world’s most iconic energy drink brands, Monster Energy, has today been confirmed as an official Championship partner for 2014 and the official energy drink of the AORC.
Monster Energy already has a global presence in various forms of motorsport – both past and present – including Formula 1TM, V8 Supercars, MotoGP, Rally including the famous Dakar Rally, and Short Course Off-Road Racing in the United States where the energy drink manufacturer already has a cult following.
However, expanding into the official Australian Off Road Championship is ideal to further strengthen the drink manufacturer’s involvement in the sport and presence “Down Under”.
HP Sports Management’s Adam Perry: “To have a commercial partnership with a company like Monster Energy is proof that the AORC is growing in leaps and bounds. And the fact that they understand off road racing due to their involvement overseas is a huge benefit for the growth of the AORC. We’re really excited about the various creative ways we can involve Monster Energy at Championship events and the Championship telecasts this year.”
Monster Energy will commence it’s Championship partnership at the season opener in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, followed by the Tatts Finke Desert Race, Waikerie in South Australia, and the grand finale at Lockyer Valley in October.
Monster Energy currently supports five-time national US off-road racing Champion and driver of the #97 Monster Energy Trophy Truck, “Ballistic” BJ Baldwin.
