Janowen Hills 4WD Park played host to the second round of the Tough Tracks 4×4 Challenge and in what seems to have become a bit of a tradition the heavens opened up and dumped a bit of rain on the park around lunchtime Saturday just after the first stages in all classes had been run.
The slippery black soil made conditions a bit more interesting but the rain was short lived and the second stages went ahead with minimal delays.
Mathew Bond kept up his awesome run with firsts in all three Outlaw tracks with Nick George in the only Challenge Class truck grabbing a couple of podium places against the Outlaws.
George Twin was also doing well in Trophy class while Darren Barnard and Aaron Follett both ended up with more than their fair share of medals in Modified Class.
