The Ultimate Rock Sports Challenge presented by Racetech Steel and Trail-Gear will be held on the 17th-19th of November 2017 at Central West 4wd Park near Mudgee NSW. This will be a 2 car team event. All vehicles will need to comply with class rules and requirements are as per URS 2017 Rulebook.
Below are some supplementary rules for this event:
-Vehicles will complete the courses in pairs
-Vehicles from the same or different classes can be paired
-Points will be awarded as indicated by progression markers along the course. A total of 100 points will be awarded at completion of the course less any penalties and plus any bonuses.
-Various sections of the track will have class specific obstacles that will need to be completed in order to continue along the track.
-Teams will have a 15 minute time limit in which the track needs to be completed.
Time penalties will apply to the total time limit for the following:
-Tyres over 40” (as written on sidewall) – 30sec per inch over 40’
-Rear steer – 2 minutes
-Portal axels – 2 minutes
-Driver activated suspension – 2 minutes
