The 2017 series of the Winch Truck Challenge has kicked off with the 1st round held at “New Chum” Mount Morgan last weekend.  Some tough stages were set for the 18 teams over Saturday, Saturday night and Sunday covering an array or terrain including steep rock ledges, rocky wall, sandy creeks, speed runs and side by side drags.

After 11 stages it was tough to call who would take out the win as many teams had been very consistent through each stage and a few good drives really sent a few teams in the direction to lead the field.  Results for the round were NnH Racing’s Nick Murphy & Hayden Lowry on 816 points in 3rd place just behind Horny Racing’s Mitchell Horn & Reagan Case in 2nd place on 885 points.  Taking out the win on 989 points was Andrew McFarlane & Mark Calder from British Offroad.
