Tickets are now on sale for Round 4 of the 2014 Australian Off Road Championship, the Pedders Suspension Coffs Coast 400, which will form part of a huge motorsport extravaganza in and around Coffs Harbour on the weekend of September 12-14.

The New South Wales off road race will form part of the Coates Hire Rally Australia event – which also stars the FIA World Rally Championship – and will see Australia’s top buggy, trophy truck and 4WD off road racers compete through the Coffs Coast state forest tracks.

Now in its second year, the Pedders Suspension Coffs Coast 400 not only provides world-class racing but a holiday destination with endless attractions for everybody, giving families the ultimate long-weekend experience away from home.

The Pedders Suspension Coffs Coast 400 will be run on a 50-kilometre loop featuring open forestry roads, fire trails and open paddock sections in an area only 18 kilometres’ drive north-west of Coffs Harbour. Two spectator points will feature at the start and midway through the course and will be in close proximity to amenities, including full phone and internet coverage.

The event schedule will be released closer to the event, however, vehicle scrutiny will be held on the morning of Friday September 12, before promotional and media rides in the afternoon.

Saturday September 13 will include reconnaissance, Prologue and Section 1 of racing which will be three laps of the 50km course. A further five laps will be run across Sections 2 and 3 on Sunday September 14 including a 45-minute service break.

Travis Robinson and Paul Currie, driving their BFGoodrich Tires-backed Outer Bounds Racing Jimco, took their maiden championship victory at last year’s Coffs Coast Off Road event.
